Ala Moana visit.  Happy Halloween! It has been a while since I went down to the Ala Moana location but I just so happened to websling on by with the beautiful Masquerade for Halloween.  I was kind of surprised that Ala Moana mall was not that busy as we were walking around the center with our costumes on.  I kind of feel bad for the businesses.  Anyways, you can’t have a jolly Halloween without Jollibee that is for sure.  The sectional beezyness was about 30 percent and there was a small line.  We originally wanted to get vanilla twirls but their ice cream machine was already done for the night.  For some reason that always happens but we just got one peach mango pie to share.   Nonetheless, Jollibee is more jollier than without Jollibee at all.

Seafood City Waipahu visit.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the JolliBAE! Today I came over briefly with the JolliBAE.  Just wanted to give a shout out to my JolliBAE, Nichelle, all of my Jolli love and birthday blessings and wishes to her! We went out to view the sunrise with our buddy, Jollibee and it was nice.  Anyways, we went to the Seadfood City Waipahu location to go pick up a Jolly Spaghetti family pack to bring over to our karaoke celebration later on.  The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent.  There was hardly a line.

Kalihi visit.  Today I came over during the evening time with my crew: Nichelle, Ariel, Josh, Mae, and July for a post-practice dinner.  It was good.  When in doubt, Jollibee.  The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent.  The drive thru beezyness was about 10 percent.  I got an ultimate burger steak meal.  I got it mainly because I got inspired by one of the new Jollibee commercials that they have out now featuring Philippine stars Nadine Lustre and James Reid:

Sometimes it is through Jollibee that I know of these Philippine stars and such. Anyways, I also got my JolliBAE a C2 meal (2 piece chickenjoy, 2 piece side with buttered corn and rice, gravy on the side). She murdered it and it she enjoyed it as it was a nice meal to kickoff her special birthday festivities the next day, 10/10!

Ala Moana visit.  It has actually been quite a long time since I have visited the Ala Moana location.  It looks like it has been renovated as well since it first opened and stuff.  I can remember and reminisce about the 100 days that I spent here a few years ago.  Anyways, just as an update from last time, it seems that they have kinda organized their ordering and line process a little.  There was about a medium sized line that was forming when I was going to order.  The sectional beezyness was about 50 percent.  So now it seems that they have more of a menu now because before they did not have much desserts available but now they do.  The main reason why I came today was because it was national cheeeseburger day and I of course automatically thought of the almighty YUMBURGER! So I just ordered one and ate it in honor and recognized of the national cheesebuger day.  They should have a national Yumburger Day in the Philippines or something as well.

Kalihi visit.  Today I came in with my girlfriend Nichelle before going to our gig that we had later in the evening for a wedding.  We came by for some merienda which was specifically ice cream sundaes.  The dine in beezyness was about 70 percent.  The drive thru beezyness was about 30 percent.  We got a chocolate sundae and caramel sundae.  I had the caramel sundae and Nichelle had the chocolate sundae.  It seems that things have been pretty much the same without too much change.  They now are giving out a free butter mammon (via Red Ribbon) for every 10 dollars purchased.

UYE (Unofficial Yelp Event): FIL 102 – Jollibee Edition

So my friend Raelyn and I (who are both on the Yelp platform as Yelpers and as Yelp Elites) started and created an UYE (Unoffical Yelp Event) at Jollibee.  Usually who these events work is that they get a group (mostly Yelpers) together in an informal setting (usually a food establishment like a restaurant or cafe) and just socialize and eat and stuff. I feel that since my 5 years of me being a Jollibee Kid and a Yelper and being involved in the Yelp community, this UYE was somewhat long overdue.  So we set it on a random summer Wednesday night in mid-August and there was a good 11 of us that enjoyed a jolly evening together.  We ordered and had most of the key jolly menu items to start which where: chickenjoy, jolly spaghetti, yumburger, and peach mango pie.  I always felt that Jollibee is known for three top things… again that is the fried chicken, spaghetti, and burgers.  I also feel that their main and stable dessert is the peach mango pie.  Some people think it is halo halo but when you think of it, how many other many Filipino food places have halo halo!? Anyways, after having all of that, I also ordered a family pack of palabok, ube pearl coolers (I also wanted to get the buko pandan one but it was not working), and jolly hotdogs.  I had everyone sample a bit of everything which I think they all enjoyed.  Afterwards, my awesome co-host Raelyn pulled out the winners from our icebreaker that we had earlier with Filipino/Jollibee trivia.  Congratulations to Christine, Cathy, and Mary’s husband for winning Jollibee dolls and to Doug for winning my exclusive “Jollibee Knows” t-shirt.  It was jolly fun.  A big mahalohalo to Jollibee Hawaii and Ma’am Sandy for getting us a bucket of chickenjoy, peach mango pies, and Jollibee dolls (as prizes).  We were also able to secure the back room for our event.  I would say that it ran very successfully and was glad I finally got the Jollibee UYE off! It was also my first UYE that I hosted with the great help of my co-host Raelyn.  I could not have not done it without her.  The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent.  There was hardly a line at Jollibee or Red Ribbon.  There was other things I also wanted to talk about in regards to Jollibee and Red Ribbon and the Philippines and Filipino stuff.

Waipahu visit.  Today I came in during the dinner time night time mainly because of a particular reason.  I came over to pretty much to double check prices of the food menu items and the space that Jollibee has for an informal event/gathering that I am going to have to a group of friends and guests.  The dine in beezyness was about 20 percent.  There was no line for Jollibee or Red Ribbon.  Since it is almost closing time, the service crew has already started mopping the floors and moving the tables and chairs and stuff.  Tonight, I just had a crunchy chicken sandwich and Jolly crispy fries.

Kalihi Visit.  So today I came in during the evening time with the rest of the crew after a wedding performance down at Hale Koa hotel.  The dine in beezyness was about 20 percent.  The drive thru beezyness was about 10 percent.  Today I just got a halo halo since I had quite a lunch earlier in the day eating Soul Food with Raelyn B.  During our dining in, a homeless person of sorts came in and was looking through the trash.  One of the workers came in and told him/her (I couldn’t really tell and see) to stop doing and that and you cannot do that and stuff.  And then after the worker said, “Bye, Felicia.” Yeah, well all thought that that was not called for.  Anyways, other peeps enJOYed chickenjoy, jolly cripsy fries, jolly spaghetti, and more! They also now have all these new “AFFORDelicious” combos until mid August or something.  All those combos come with a free drink.  They all range roughly from 6 to 8 bucks which I think is a good price.

Kalihi visit.  Today I came in during the evening time with the homie Nic.  The motivation for our visit this evening was because Costco food court shut us out right when it was closing time.  We wanted to get some dessert after having a decent dinner at Max’s of Manila restaurant in the nearby area.  It was pretty good but obviously it could have of course bee better and been better with some Jollibee.  The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent.  The drive thru beezyness was about 10 percent.  I got the new peach mango pie ala mode which was pretty good.  It was about $2.50ish but in my opinion, it is kinda pricey.  They also have the caramel sundae as a part of their summer dessert specials.

Kalihi Visit.  Today I came in on a random Sunday night because I was craving the so called “new” Jolly Hotdog which is technically not new because they did have it a few years ago which I believe  was back in 2011 or 2012 so if anything they should be announcing that it is “back” or something like that.  The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent.  The drive thru beezyness was about 20 percent.  When I ordered the Jolly Hotdog, the cool thing I find out was that you can order it with a combo instead of it ala carte/all by itself.  I remember a few years ago, they did not have a combo with it so you just had to get it by itself.  The price for the combo is actually really not bad and it s pretty good deal that is less than 5 dollars.  So it comes with the Jolly Hotdog, Jolly cripsy fries, and a drink.  Hopefully now they have the Jolly hotdog as a part of their regular menu which they should have it as.
