Seafood City Waipahu visit.  Today I came down during the afternoon time with the homies Josh and Nico.  We went down after performing at the Filipino Community Center for a Filipino Martial Arts event.  It’s been a long while since I went down to this location.  There was no line and the dine in beezyness was about 40 percent.  It was pretty poppin’ because it was a Saturday.  I got a chickenjoy kids meal with pineapple quencher.  They also gave me a sundae on the side which was surprising to see.  I think it comes with the meal since they never gave me a toy to go along with it.  Can’t wait for the big Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight this weekend.  It’s going to be a blast.  I am sure this place will bee busy next weekend.  I will be traveling to Las Vegas for the fight of the century.  Hopefully I get to visit Jollibee Las Vegas.  Until next time.

National City Visit. Today is Holy Saturday and I ran into another Jollibee in San Diego! I guess it was an unexpected visit and ran into it out of the blue when we were going to Goldilocks bakery. After getting some pasalubongs there, I saw Jollibee at the other side of the street so I just had to go and run there and make a visit and stop and order! Unlike the Chula Vista location where it is attached to Seafood City Supermarket , this was a stand-alone Jollibee with a drive-thru! The inside is actually kind of small but it was still pretty poppin’ nonetheless. The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent. There was a small line actually. I just ordered two tuna little big bites because they didn’t have any other different menu items like the Chula Vista one had. After getting some food, I ran back to the others to go grab some real dinner with our friend Brandon later on. The location actually kinda reminded me of Jollibee Kalihi.

Chula Vista San Diego Visit. Today is Good Friday and today is the first day that the crew and I are in the mainland specifically in California for a performance in San Diego. It is our first trip to the mainland in our first mainland performance to San Diego’s Filipino Sun Festival in Mira Mesa. We landed in Los Angeles to travel all the way down San Diego and made a pit stop at Chula Vista Seafood City where Jollibee is located. It was awesome to experience my first Jollibee mainland encounter outside of home in Hawaii as well as in the Philippines. It was truly a groundbreaking moment for the Jollibee Kid. Even though all of the Jollibee USA branches are the same with the same food and same look, what makes the experience and visit new and fresh is the location and community! Today I got a mango sundae which I do not think Jollibee Hawaii has so I just had to small kine sample and get it! It was good! Jollibee Hawaii should have it! There was also Chowking! Unfortunately, I did not order from there. Red Ribbon was of course a part of that. There was also some other Filipino food shoppes like boba tea, Filipino pastries, and even Valerio’s bakeshop. It was an epic moment for me especially. There was no line in Jollibee and the dine in beezyness was about 10 percent. It was a pretty mellow early evening when we went.

Kalihi Visit.  Today I came over with my Jollibae after a great dinner at California Pizza Kitchen at Ala Moana Center.  It would have been more convenient if we went down to the Jollibee down there but it was obviously already closed by the time we ended our dinner.  We got here literally right at closing time.  We wanted to get just the vanilla twirls but then they were out so I was forced to kinda just get two halo-halos.  It was still nice nonetheless.  I was surprised that they gave us the option to have our halo halos for here or to go.  The plan was to eat there so we stayed and they were really nice to have us just stay there while they were cleaning up.  The dine in and drive thru beezyness was obviously at 0 percent by then.  It’s one thing to have perfectly placed ice in your halo halo, it’s another when

Waipahu Visit.  Today I came during the early afternoon time to get a quick bite to eat.  Today is St. Patrick’s Day and in celebration of it, I wanted to go get a buko pandan pearl cooler.  When I want to go and order it, I found out that they ran out.  I was super bummed.  So I just ordered a tuna and egg may little big bite.  They only have the tuna and egg mayo little big bite available only during for the Lent season which always sucks.  The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent.  There was no line.  It has actually been a while since I went to a Jollibee.  Things have just been interesting with life.  My focus has been on other things and stuff.  But life is going and that is all that matters.  I have to start going to Jollibee more to get me Jolliness back in life.

Waipahu visit.  It’s been a long while since I visited Jollibee.  My friends Nico, Nichelle, and I came down in the morning mainly because of one reason.  That one reason is because Nichelle has not tried a BreakfastJOY at Jollibee.  I couldn’t believe it at first.  Breakfastjoys are one of my favorite menu items at Jollibee.  We highly suggested the Tocino Breakfastjoy.  When we first came in, however, we were surprised because they recently renovated the restaurant.  There is some new interior design with the wall decorations which consisted mostly of white people eating Jollibee for some reason.  I guess Jollibee USA wants to show how Jollibee can be loved by Americans or something like that.  There is some new table and seating areas too which looked pretty nice.  The dine in beezyness was about 40 percent.  There was no line for Jollibee or Red Ribbon.  We all pretty much at the tocino breakfastjoys.

Waipahu 2: Seafood City Supermarket.  Today I came down during the night time to have my pau hana after work dinner at the SFC location.  There was no line.  The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent.  I got a yumburger kid’s meal with pineapple drink.  They told me that they do not have anymore toys and I was like ok whatevers.  What I wanted to do was eat the yumburger with the jolly cripsy fries to convert it into “DiversiFRIEs.” if that makes any sense.  It’s all about diversifying your meal.  I’ve eaten everything at Jollibee so I am at the point as a Jollibeekid were I have to make it a little bit more interesting and creative to express my joy and love for eating at Jollibee.  My friend Nichelle sent me a snapchat saying that she was sick so I sent her a snapchat back showing Sarah Geronimo eating a chickENJOY! In the Philippines, there are many Jollibee brand ambassadors.  I feel that I am a better and true brand ambassador than any of them.  I am just saying just because they are famous and like Jollibee doesn’t mean that they are true Jollibee ambassadors.  Anyways as I was leaving I saw Rachele and some of her co-workers towards the exit in the back because they were getting ready for their staff post Christmas party.

Kalihi Visit.  Today I came over here two times.  The first one was during the mid-afternoon time with my friend Nichelle.  She was treating me to a birthday lunch but more so mainly helping her out with her paper that she had to do for a class.  I was a nice little lunch break.  She got me a C1 chickENJOY meal with side of rice and a pineapple quencher.  She had an ultimate burger steak.  The drive thru beezyness was about 20 percent.  The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent.  One of the newer things that I saw inside the store was that now they had a community bulletin board right in front of the restrooms.  I thought that was pretty cool of them to do.  I like they are trying to promote community engagement.  Nichelle and I went to the new Red Ribbon afterwards to have some cake.  I guess just in case I didn’t get to have a cake later on in the day.

The second time I came here was during the evening this time with a few of my crew members including Nichelle again, Ariel, Nico, and my sisters Riva and Heide.  They brought me over a nice blueberry cream cake which was super good to go along with our Jollibee meals.  The drive thru beezyness was about 40 percent.  The dine in beezyness was also about 40 percent.  I got a palabok meal with a pineapple quencher.  Mom told me to get noodles because it is good luck for birthdays which represents many more birthdays to come.  I also wanted to really get it because it’s been a while since I got palabok.  Other people also got spaghetti which was good too because it adds more to the longevity of birthday spirituality.  Nothing beats a Jollibee Kid birthday than having Jollibee on your birthday with family and friends with blueberry cake (my favorite).  It was good times for sure.  We took pictures using Ariel’s gift to me which was a selfie stick (monopod).  We felt so Filipino using it but it was all good.

Sunday, December 14, 2014 – Jollibee Waipahu 2 (Seafood City) Grand Opening.

Seafood City Waipahu visit.  Today marks the first official grand opening of the fourth Jollibee on Oahu/Hawaii.  They opened early in the morning and I was bummed because I couldn’t make it due to me running at the Honolulu Marathon.  However, I came later that evening to go check it out.  The first 100 customers got a Jollibee pillow which I already have thanks to Jollibee Kalihi’s grand opening earlier in the year.  Come to think of it that’s crazy that two Jollibees opened this year alone! Jollibee USA managed to open one in Kalihi and another in Waipahu in 2014! How beast is Jollibee! Anyways, wherever there is a Seafood City, there is always a Jollibee and Red Ribbon.  I guess it’s all a part of the business franchise.  When you look at the front of Seafood City Waipahu, you’ll see Jollibee on the right and Red Ribbon on the left.  They are both located right at the entrance of the Seafood City Supermarket store.  Focusing on Jollibee, the store looks really nice.  There is a nice big Jollibee sign in the front with Jollibee welcoming you in with open arms.  The vice and atmosphere is just like Kalihi.  The interior design is almost exactly the same except on a smaller scale.  When I went in, I met up with Rachele and also one of the Jollibee USA representatives.  She remembers me from last time and was expecting that I bee one of the first customers, if not the first customer again for their new Jollibee at the Seafood City Supermarket.  Nonetheless, it was good seeing them.  She told me that they are renovating the Jollibee/Red Ribbon Waipahu store to make it look like all of the same Jollibees with the same Philippines like atmosphere.  I ordered an ultimate burger steak.  It was funny because the girl who rang me up asked me if I wanted to order an ultimate burgersteak after just ordering.  I told her I just ordered it and she told me if I wanted to get another one.  I told her no, just one.  I was like oh my gosh, shake my head.  Anyways, I ordered a pineapple quencher to go with that.  They have one unisex restroom inside which looks really nice.  I was impressed.  They also have an exit towards the back area of the store instead of having to go through the main front entrance to exit which was pretty smart of them to do.  Overall, I was impressed with this Jollibee number 4 for Hawaii.  I was contemplating whether or not I should attempt another 100 days for this one but I decided to remain retired.  Being a JollibeeKid is not easy work.  Looking forward to more visitations here.

Waipahu visit.  Today I came over during the night time to get my routine pre-marathon Jolly spaghetti meal.  I always get the spaghetti before running at the Honolulu Marathon ever since last year.  It’s always my last carbo load prior.  When coming inside, I noticed that they are renovating parts of the store specifically the Red Ribbon area.  Red Ribbon was still open but they only had like a small section out that is closer to the front of the store.  Jollibee was still normal and I think they are going to renovate that section soon.  Today I got my jolly spaghetti, a side of jolly crispy fries, and another Jollibee doll to rock.  I am glad that they were able to get more of the dolls out because I wanted to get another one.  The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent.  I went down to go visit Seafood City Waipahu because I heard that they were opening up soon.
