Waipahu visit.  Today I came in during the early afternoon time to pick up some food that I am going to bring over to my friend Nico’s place for the Pacquiao vs. Algieri fight today.  The dine in beezyness was about 40 percent.  There was a small line for Jollibee and none at Red Ribbon as always.  There were a few new banners up that I haven’t really seen.  There was one showing the return of the chicken sotanghon noodle soup.  I think maybe they brought this back because it’s starting to become winter season and the weather is starting to get chilly or something.  Another cool thing that I found out was that they are selling a dancing Jollibee doll available for purchase for $15 when you buy any combo meal.  I wanted to get the doll so I just got a C2 2 piece chickenjoy meal with rice and a drink.  I remember seeing from many people’s #jollibee posts that they had this a while ago in the Philippines and now they are offering the doll here in the U.S. which is pretty cool.

Kalihi.  Today I went over to the Kalihi location because not only was I cravy Jollibee as always, but I just felt that I needed to treat myself after a long and semi-stressful day at work.  I was working along for most of the day since my boss kinda left me mid-day because she was feeling sick.  Anyways, the drive thru beezyness was about 20 percent.  The dine in beezyness was about 50 percent.  Today I got an ultimate burger steak meal with a side of mash potatoes just for the random fun of it.  Well, I was kinda really hungry anyway.

Kalihi visit.  Today I came in with the crew after performing and volunteering for Farrington High School’s FOB Project event.  The drive thru beezyness was about 20 percent.  The dine in beezyness was poppin’ so it was like about 70 percent.  We had to wait a while to find an open table for a group of 5 people.  Yes, there was 5 of us.  Today I got a spaghetti kids meal with pineapple juice.  Later on, we also got vanilla twirls and turned our drinks into floats.  It was delicious.  I just used my cup to put root bear in it and dropped the ice cream in it.  I was a good post performance meal.  It was really hot like always but the meal made it satisfying especially with the ice cream soda float afterwards.  I noticed that some of the workers were putting up Halloween decorations for the store.  I was also happy with my toy with the kids meal.  I am glad that they have Jollibee specific toys that they are giving away.  All kids meal toys should be Jollibee toys and not generic toys.  They even had some Christmas decorations up at the same time!

Waipahu.  Today I came over to the Waipahu location with my Tek homies Nico and Nichelle before our performance for Senator Clarence Nishihara’s fundraiser.  We came in during the late afternoon/ early evening time.  The dine in beezyness was about 40 percent.  There was no line for Red Ribbon.  There was a small line for Jollibee.  Jollibee also serves as a great merienda for the day.  I got a side order of Jolly crispy fries, buko pandan cooler, and peach mango pie.  I saw a post on someone’s instagram that had the Jolly crispy fries inside the peach mango pie so I wanted to try the same thing.  They called it the peach mango fries.  I thought to myself, oh my how clever.  I wanted to try it out for sure.  It is actually pretty good.  It just adds a little bit more to starchy flavor of the peach mango pie/fries.  I even combined the buko pandan cooler to the halo halo and called it buko halo halo cooler or something like that.  I saw Rachele today and she was super kind enough to treat us to three halo halos for each of us.  She was buggin’ me if I should do the 100 happy days at the new Jollibee that is going to open up at Seafood City Supermarket.  She even hinted at the talks of a Jollibee in Maui.  I am sure that is going to be huge news for Maui Filipinos down there.  They actually deserve to have a Jollibee over there.

Kalihi.  Today is the first day coming back to the Kalihi location ever since Day 100.  I came over with the Tek crew after having practice.  It felt good coming back again.  The dine in beezyness was about 10 percent.  The drive thru beezyness was about 5 percent.  Everything still felt the same with the same vibe and atmosphere.  It’s like I haven’t left or stopped doing the consecutive days challenge.  Josh and Ariel wanted to get ice cream but they were all out.  I figured that is the same problem that you might face when coming in at night.  I just got a Jollibee kids meal and was happy that I got a toy with it.  I especially like the Jollibee limited edition toys and not some generic ones.  A disappointing thing that we witnessed today was Josh and Ariel’s fries.  They were not hot at all.  As much as I love Jollibee, as I mentioned and said before, sometimes there are things that we just have to question and bee like why? Cold fries equals not so good times.  As I sample and tasted the one french fry I just stool there.  In other news, it was Nichelle’s first time stepping into the store and dining in.  The last time she was with us, we did a drive thru.

Waipahu.  Today I went to Waipahu again with the crew to get something to eat before heading out to our gig performance later on in the evening.  We came in around the afternoon time and it was pretty poppin’.  There was a medium sized line for Jollibee and hardly none for Red Ribbon.  Today I got a crispy chicken sandwich and spam little big bite.  Those are two items that I haven’t had for a very long time.  The dine in beezyness was about 70 percent.

Waipahu. Today I came in during the evening time. Today is my father’s birthday so I came over to buy a bucket of chickenjoy and cake from Red Ribbon. Both sections didn’t have any lines. Today is actually the first time entering and ordering from Jollibee since my 100 days of happiness at Jollibee Kalihi. It felt good to get some Jollibee again after resting from it for a while. The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent. I got a Red Ribbon mango cake. In other Jollibee news, I found out that another Jollibee will be opening up at the new Seafood City supermarket.  Here’s my post from instagram….

Ok so recently I went down to the new #SeafoodCity in #Waipahu and found out that they were opening both a new #JollibeeWaipahu and #redribbonwaipahu over there. Ok I understand that sure #jollibee and #redribbon having to bee in a seafood city is like the equivalent to McDonalds having to bee in a Walmart but really now? I would much rather see a CHOWKING in there or another place! I mean c’mon now, there’s already a Jbee/Red Ribbon literally a few blocks away! I am not going to come out of retirement just for this! Lol

Before Kalihi day 100, I went to Waipahi mainly to check up and follow up with management if Jollibee can participate in the Filipino for Kids Summer program which is ending this Saturday. It’s been a while since I went to Waipahu of course but it was pretty poppin. The dine in beezyness was about 40 percent and there was hardly a line for Jollibee and Red Ribbon. Today I just got a ube pearl cooler which was awesome to have on a hot day. I was able to get a confirmation that they will be at the program so the visit was all good. As I was in the Waipahu store and waited for a whole I had some nostalgia internally. Looks like most of these workers are new. I kinda miss the old school Jollibee Waipahu workers. Everybody now bee like Jollibeekid who? Haha.

Kalihi Day 100. This is it. Today is the final day. The finale. The day I end the streak of going to Jollibee by stopping it at 100 days in a row. It’s been fun and enjoyed every moment of it. Coming here was a source of detoxification even it was just for a little while. As I reflect on the moment… 100 days at Waipahu, 100 days at Ala Moana, and now 100 days at Jollibee Kalihi. Wow time really does fly by fast. A lot of people ask why I do this. I don’t know go to to read more. However, to put it more holistically and philosophically, I was reading one of my friend’s (Joe’s) post about the Dalai Lama saying how man lives as he is never going to die, and then dies never really having lived. Sometimes, you just gotta #chickENJOY life while your still somewhat young. To me, Jollibee is the Filipino version of going to Toy’s R Us, why be a Toy’s R Us Kid when you can be a Jollibee Kid? With the many things I try me best to do within the Fil-Am community, for this whole Jollibee Kid thing and going to Jollibee everyday thing again it wasn’t about the food, it wasn’t about being the Filipino SuperSize me, it wasn’t about comparison and contrast, it was all about creating another outlet for me to express #pinoypride in a somewhat different way; simply the entity of Jollibee as the joy of hanging out and eating at a special place where you feel like home.

Today I came in during the evening time maybe like a half an hour before closing with then Tekniqlingz crew. Shout outs to the homie DLS rocksteady for stopping by for a quickie. I appreciated him for his support and the effort for coming out straight outta work. Big ups to Kulintronica Ron for chillaxin with us on a perfect day and time. Like the previous day 100s, today I got an amazing aloha yumburger meal. I always get the amazing aloha because I call the moment of day 100 the amazing aloha. It is giving amazing aloha to the streak of consecutive visits to Jollibee. It’s not like I am not going to go back forever or anything. I was hoping on that one of the workers Don was there to say what’s up but it’s all good. He was pretty much the only one out of that whole Jollibee Kalihi staff that recognized and appreciated me for the 100 day journey and effort. The dine in beezyness was about 20 percent. The drive thru beezyness was about 10 percent. It was a pretty mellow and chill Thursday night. We were obviously the last ones to leave. After that we took a group pic next to Jollibee. Well I dunno when’s the next time I am going to go to Jollibee again. It could very well be the next day for day 101 or a couple days from now, a few days from now, a week from now, a month from now, etc. As we were dining in, we talked story on my experience here during those 100 days, I would say about 85 to 90 percent of it were solo missions, there was one day were we barely made it by like 2 minutes before closing time, technically this 100 days could be controversial because there was one day when I was in Maui and we did a electronic virtual remote visit via FaceTime with my sister, and there’s just many more. I would say it went by pretty smoothly. My boss Momo put out a facebook copying my style of Jollibee visit blogging.  It was her Day 1 on my Day 100 out of all days! Some other people I have to give shout outs to are Nichelle for sending me a celebration song with original Nichelle lyrics and for Mae whom I seldom see nowadays but see made an instagram collage celebrating the moment and occasion. Anyways it was a good Jollibee run. I do marathons. 0 more days to go!

Kalihi Day 99. Today I came in during the morning time. Well what can I say today is the last day before the big 100th day. The marathon really did go by pretty fast. As I reflect on my experience, it was a pretty mellow one. Most of the time, I just went in and went out. I did my thang and that’s it. I met just a couple people most notably the homie Don who I would sometimes talk story with. The drive thrus made things interesting but I didn’t really like it because it was hard to document it and there’s too much multi-tasking for me in there process. Whenever I come in the mornings, sometimes I see my good friend from high school Reyn who works as Jiffy Lube right across and asks me what day it is. The drive thru beezyness was about 10 percent. The dine in beezyness was about 10 percent. Today I spoiled myself and got my favorite breakfastjoy which is the tocino one along with a cup of coffee. This time I managed to get a free refill. One more day to go!
