Waipahu Visit 186. Today I came in during the morning time a little before lunch time after working/teaching at IPA in Kapolei. I noticed that there is a new item in Waipahu town. They now have chickenjoy popcorn. I immediately have to try it. The dine in beezyness is about 35 percent. There was no line for Jollibee or Red Ribbon. The chickenjoy popcorn by itself is 2.69 and 3.69 with a soda. So you are pretty much paying a dollar for a side of soda with it. Normally a soda would be more than a dollar if you are buying it alone so yes you are saving some money there. You can get a choice of 3 sauces with it, either, gravy, banana ketchup, or ranch. I got it with banana ketchup. After getting it take out to go and trying it at home. At first I was pretty disappointed with the amount that I got for paying nearly 3 bucks for it. I ate it with my homemade rice. It was pretty heartwarming after that. I think this is good with some Jolli Crispy Fries. I only had about 11 pieces of chickenjoy popcorn in there. I guess it’s pretty worth it but I still prefer chickenjoy dip ‘n strips as my favorite chickenjoy item.
