Kalihi visit. Today I came in with the crew after performing and volunteering for Farrington High School’s FOB Project event. The drive thru beezyness was about 20 percent. The dine in beezyness was poppin’ so it was like about 70 percent. We had to wait a while to find an open table for a group of 5 people. Yes, there was 5 of us. Today I got a spaghetti kids meal with pineapple juice. Later on, we also got vanilla twirls and turned our drinks into floats. It was delicious. I just used my cup to put root bear in it and dropped the ice cream in it. I was a good post performance meal. It was really hot like always but the meal made it satisfying especially with the ice cream soda float afterwards. I noticed that some of the workers were putting up Halloween decorations for the store. I was also happy with my toy with the kids meal. I am glad that they have Jollibee specific toys that they are giving away. All kids meal toys should be Jollibee toys and not generic toys. They even had some Christmas decorations up at the same time!
Waipahu. Today I came over to the Waipahu location with my Tek homies Nico and Nichelle before our performance for Senator Clarence Nishihara’s fundraiser. We came in during the late afternoon/ early evening time. The dine in beezyness was about 40 percent. There was no line for Red Ribbon. There was a small line for Jollibee. Jollibee also serves as a great merienda for the day. I got a side order of Jolly crispy fries, buko pandan cooler, and peach mango pie. I saw a post on someone’s instagram that had the Jolly crispy fries inside the peach mango pie so I wanted to try the same thing. They called it the peach mango fries. I thought to myself, oh my how clever. I wanted to try it out for sure. It is actually pretty good. It just adds a little bit more to starchy flavor of the peach mango pie/fries. I even combined the buko pandan cooler to the halo halo and called it buko halo halo cooler or something like that. I saw Rachele today and she was super kind enough to treat us to three halo halos for each of us. She was buggin’ me if I should do the 100 happy days at the new Jollibee that is going to open up at Seafood City Supermarket. She even hinted at the talks of a Jollibee in Maui. I am sure that is going to be huge news for Maui Filipinos down there. They actually deserve to have a Jollibee over there.
