Kalihi Day 75. Today I came in during the late evening time as usual. The drive thru beezyness was about 20 percent. The dine in beezyness was about 20 percent as well. It was a pretty mellow Sunday. Before ordering I asked if they had ice cream just to make sure I was able to get a vanilla twirl and I did. As I was slurping on my twirl, I saw Don who I haven’t seen in a while. He asked me what day it was. I told him it was 75. I am officially 3/4 on my way. 25 more days to go!

So I tried out two ride sharing apps to go from home to Jollibee and then from Jollibee to home and I would say it was a pretty good experience. I went at night like at 9pm and went home around 10:30pm so sure you could say I was chancing by riding with complete strangers. I had two haole drivers Scott from Lyft and Lloyd from Uber and they were chill dudes out there just tryna make their hustle. I paid $0 thanks to promo codes 🙂 hopefully we get more local drivers and people to use this modern era community taxi ride-sharing convenient service.

Kalihi Day 74. Today I came in during the evening time with the crew; Josh, Nico, Ariel, Mae, and Christian. We came back after performing at our gig at Honolulu Design Center for the Filipino Jaycees Luzviminda Philippine charity fashion show. Me and Christian came first and then the others followed. I came in today with my new Jollibee knows shirt. The drive thru beezyness was about 10 percent. The dine in beezyness was also at about 10 percent. It was a pretty slow and mellow Saturday night. Today I got a chickenjoy dip ‘n strip kiddie meal with a pineapple quencher. This time I finally got a toy along with the meal. During our dine in session we experimented with a few more things in the menu. First, Christian attempted to eat gravy along with the sundae that he got. In the end, he concluded that it was something that sounds so right but tastes so wrong or sounds so wrong still yet. Speaking about ice cream, Nico and Josh made their own coke floats with it by dumping the vanilla twirls in their drinks and mixing it! Josh again always gets the twirls with the most layers on it. He had 5 twirls which I think is that tallest that I have seen it! 26 more days to go!

Kalihi Day 73. Today I came in during the late evening time after finishing work as usual. The drive thru beezyness was about 5 percent. The dine in beezyness was around 20 percent. Unlike last night, today was a relatively more mellow Friday night. Today I just got a B1 yumburger meal with pineapple quencher. Basically I am afraid that the ice cream machine always dies out at the end of the day and now I always have this fear that if I order anything ice cream then they are going to say that. I can’t order ice cream confidentially nowadays unless I can coming in during the day. 27 more days to go!

Officially dripping my commemorative JOLLIBEE KNOWS t-shirt!!! 😀 since we are nearing the end if my Jollibee 100 days of happiness journey at Kalihi, I decided to make some shirts to celebrate and recognize the moment. My inspiration for making the design is from nike’s former Manny Pacquiao line of shirts such as “Ninong Knows” and “Manny Knows.” Please support me by buying a shirt! Proceeds will go to offset the costs of making and printing the shirt as well as funding the rest of the 100 day quest. All in all it’s about the JOY of eating and/or hanging out at a special place where you feel like home. Much mahalos! Maraming salamat! Thank you!

Kalihi Day 72. Today I came in during the late evening time with Tek friends Christian and his girlfriend Nicole. Tonight was surprisingly a pretty beezy night. The drive thru was about 40 percent. The dine in beezyness was about 70 percent. It was almost a packed house with a majority of the table and seating areas taken. Today I got a chickenjoy kids meal. Christian and Nicole got the 2 for $12 deals and each got chickenjoy plates as well. Nicole gave me a piece of her chickenjoy because she didn’t want it. Speaking of chickenjoy there was a group of young adults that were talking about fried chicken and ranking it amongst the fried chickens in Hawaii. When eating fried chicken in Hawaii, why do people always have to compare it amongst other fried chicken establishments? People need to just appreciate the uniqueness of each fried chicken at a particular establishment.  In think the best fried chicken is chickenjoy no doubt. My Tek friend Nichelle who lives in Seattle snap chatted my a picture with Jollibee down there. It makes me want to go there and visit. Hopefully one day I can go down to another Jollibee USA store in the mainland and check it out! 28 more days to go!

Kalihi Day 71. Today I came in during the evening time after work. The drive thru beezyness was about 5 percent. The dine in beezyness was about 15 percent. It’s interesting to see that nowadays since I have been coming around towards the late night hour, people are still coming in like they got the munchies and stuff. Today I had a B1 yumburger meal with jolly crispy fries with a pineapple quencher. I was also give a cup I guess for extra soda? But anyways it was cool. My how time is flying by really fast! I only have about a month left before completing 100 days again at Jollibee! CHEE! 29 more days to go.

Kalihi Day 70. Today I came in during the afternoon time. I went through the drive thru today. The drive thru beezyness was about 25 percent. There was a car in front of me and in the back as well. The dine in beezyness seems like it’s at around 40 percent. Today I just got a vanilla twirl. Maybe I’ll have to come earlier in the day to just to be able to secure a vanilla twirl without having to worry about ice cream machine break down problems. 30 more days to go!

Kalihi Day 56. Today I came in during the evening time again after work. I dine in and found out that they were all out of ice cream. In fact, they said that their ice cream machine break. It was very sad. This forced me to buy something more pricey. I ended up buying a chickenjoy kids meal with pineapple quencher. The dine in beezyness was about 20 percent. The drive thru beezyness was 0 percent. There was nobody there at that drive thru tonight. 44 more days to go!

So after 56 days of straight up Jollibee Kalihi, tonight is the first time I dropped some serious JBK knowledge on one of the crew workers.  As I was done eating my chickenjoy, the crew worker Don asked me “you really love coming here.” After that I just gave him the JBK history in a few minutes. #jollibeekidkalihi

Kalihi Day 55. Today I came in during the evening time after getting off of work. The drive thru beezyness was about 20 percent and the dine in beezyness was about 30 percent. I actually went through the drive thru today because I had to go home and finish some homework for my MBA class. Today I just got a vanilla twirl. It didn’t really melt as easily as last time. Today was my longest time that i spent in the drive thru line because of the one car in front of me that was ordering a lot of stuff. I gave me time to take more pictures and stuff. I tried taking picture of the Jollibee crew worker waving at me before i come but they didn’t do it. 45 more days to go!

Kalihi Day 53. Today I came into evening time shortly after arriving from Kona for a gig with the crew. The drive thru beezyness was about 20 percent there were some cars in the area. The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent. Today I got something a little more than just a vanilla twirl which was a yumburger and a pineapple quencher. It was a pretty mellow crowd tonight but I was excited because I get to watch Prometheous Brown and Bambu tonight for their BARKADA show. 47 more days to go!

Kalihi Day 52. Today I came in the the super duper late evening time but more like two minutes before closing time. I felt like to have come at the time I came in. What happened was I was with my tek friends nico and Ariel and we had just finished our grad party gig at hale koa. We left there around 9:30 pm and rushed over to jollibee Kalihi. We made it just in time. Let’s just say that it’s something that I don’t want to do ever again having to rush over to jollibee. Today i of course just had a vanilla twirl. We all got desserts. The drive thru beezyness was 0 percent. The dine in beezyness was 5 percent. We were pretty much the only customers at the time. 48 more days to go!
