Waipahu Visit 222.  Today I came in during the afternoon time with the homies Nico and CJ.  We stopped by for some small kine merienda/lunch action before another tinikling practice with the Waipahu High School Filipino club.  The dine in beezyness was about 35 percent.  There was hardly a line for Jollibee and Red Ribbon.  There were many staff workers right up on the counter.  We figured that they are new staff for the upcoming new Jollibee in Kalihi.  As I was being rung up for a buko pandan cooler and burger steak meal, I think one of the supervisors were in training at the register.  Another new discovery was as we were dining in, Nico and CJ pointed out that there were ube mamons on the counter at Red Ribbon.  I had to ask them again and clarify if I heard then correctly about mentioning, UBE MAMONS!?! I immediately finished my burger steak plate and headed over to the Red Ribbon section.  At first there was none but a staff worker pulled out a new batch so I was pretty excited.  I got enough for the whole crew to taste and eat.  It’s about $1.49 for one ube mamon.

Later on during the evening as I was headed home from a gig with the crew, I noticed that they put up the Jollibee sign at the Jollibee construction site at the new Kalihi location (formerly KFC).  I was pretty excited so I quickly parked my car and took some pics.  There’s gonna bee some out with the old chicken and in with the new chickenJOY.  I cannot wait until the grand opening day comes.  Diary of a JollibeeKid 3: Kalihi Edition coming soon!

Waipahu Visit 221.  Today I came in during the morning time to have some small kine breakfast with the homie Nico before going off to Waipahu High School again to teach the Filipino club the tinikling dance.  The dine in beezyness was about 30 percent.  There was hardly a line for both Jollibee and Red Riboon.  I got one of my favorite breakfastJOYs, the longganisa one.  It was nice having breakfast on an early morning day at Jollibee.  It reminds me of the times when I used to come herhttp://www.jollibeekid.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=3772&action=edite early in the morning when Jollibee first opened nearly four years ago when I did the 100 days of Jollibee.  Those were the good old days.

Waipahu Visit 220.  Today I came in with my friend Nico before going off to Waipahu High School to teach their Filipino club the tiniking dance.  We stopped be for some small kine merienda action.  The dine in beezyness was about 40 percent.  There was a small line for Jollibee and none for Red Ribbon.  Today I just got a tuna little big bite and ube pearl cooler.  I saw Ma’am Sandy and she said that they are just going to have the egg mayo and tuna little big bite for a limited time in observance of the lenten season.  I was disappointed because I want them to keep it especially because the tuna one is my favorite.  They should just keep it just like how they keep the spam and corned beef ones.

Ala Moana Visit 147.  It’s tha first of tha month! Today I came during the early evening time with the Tekniqlingz Crew after having a much needed beach today for myself personally.  The sectional beezyness was about 45 percent and there was a medium sized line.  I was stoked again because they finally got the tuna and egg mayo little big bites back again on the menu! I was wondering what happened to them? I got a tuna little big bite, crunchy chicken burger, and a side of fries.  My friend Mae also got Jollibee and got her usual chickenjoy with gravy.  She really loves Jollibee gravy and got an extra gravy so that she is well satisfied.  We noticed and commented on the fact that the workers now have some new workers.  I think it is because of the new management or leadership that they have for the company.  I think this Ala Moana team still has to do something about their service though.
