Kalihi visit. Today I came back again from coming exactly one week ago on a Tuesday. I came back after attending a breakdance workshop with Bboy Ezekiel Cyde 2. Anyways, the dine-in beezyness was about 40 percent and the drive-thru beezyness was about 30 percent. Just like last week, I was also tempted again to go for a kiddie meal but I got the two sandwiches again which are the tuna and egg mayo. I actually got to egg mayos, one for myself and one for jollibae of course. The two sandwiches was what I considered my dinner.
Kalihi visit. Today I made a stopover to the Kalihi location after work to pick up some food before heading over to my jollibae for a study session. The dine in beezyness was about 50 percent. The drive-thru beezyness was about 40 percent. I was originally tempted in getting a kiddie meal because they have some new toys out but I ended up getting the little big bites of egg mayo and tuna. They always bust those two out for the lenten season special but like I say every year, they should make it all year-round just like the chicken sotanghon soup which they bring out and take out kinda randomly. Anyways, since today is Pi Day (3.14), I got two peach mango pies, one for myself and one for jollibae. Although, it is technically not a whole circular pie of sorts, it is still a pie.
Waipahu location. Today I came over to the original Waipahu location. It has been a while since I visited the this location. I kinda missed it actually. But anyways, the jollibae and I came down over as a reward treat for us after running the Great Aloha Run early in the morning. The dine in beezyness was actually quite busy, I would say it was about 50 percent. I think it is because it is a holiday that it was a bit more busy plus we were coming almost close to brunch time. As far as the environment and interior goes, it is pretty much the same. Not much changes. Anyways, I happened to stumbled upon Ma’am Sandy, who is in charge of Jollibee Waipahu operations. It was nice catching up to her and seeing how the store is open. Both the jollibae and I got the breakfastJOY tocinos and I also got a chiceknJOY kids meal in hopes of getting one of those Jollibee train toys but they did not so I guess they just ran out or something. Anyways, it just felt good eating Jollibee again.
Kalihi visit. Today I came over to the Kalihi location again for Valentine’s Day with none other than my Jollibae. We came back from a movie in which we watched Lala Land. It was a pretty good movie, especially for Valentine’s day. We kinda kept it lowkey in that regard. We ate some popcorn and stuff prior so our stomachs had semi been taken cared of. The dine in beezyness was about 40 percent. We didn’t see to much couples out tonight in the restaurant which was pretty interesting to not see. It’s funny because Jollibee Philippines put out several commercials which were Valentine’s Day related. The themes were Love, Crush, Vow. In typical and true Filipino fashion, they tug to your hearts. The drive thru beezyness was about 30 percent. We just got a couple of chicken sotanghon soups to satisfy our souls. It was pretty good. If you get a jollibee kiddie meal, they now have a train set which you can collect. It is pretty cool too and plan on trying to collect them if they have them out long enough.
Kalihi visit. Today I came over for the big game, it is Super bowl Sunday! I came over to primarily get a bucket of ChickenJOY for the big game. I came to get a bucket of ChickenJOY for da dirty birds! You probably know which team I rooting for haha. Anyways the dine in beezyness was about 60 percent. The drive thru was pretty busy. It was about 70 percent. I have never seen it so busy or at least for a while for that matter. Everybody was obviously getting something for the big game. They have a promo going one for the bucket of ChickenJOY, which is you get another extra piece for free. So instead of 6 pieces, you get 7 pieces. I’m not sure if it’s for only the super bowl but that’s a deal nonetheless.
Kalihi visit. Today I came back to the Kalihi location to get another chickenJOY bucket for another holiday potluck that I am going to. It is going to be with my co-workers. The dine in beezyness was about 40 percent. The drive-thru beezyness was about 20 percent. Actually I went through the drive-thru to make the order since I wanted to make the pick up a bit convenient for me. I like getting chickenJOY as a potluck item because you know it will always go out pretty fast. It always usually does get eaten and there are never leftovers with chickenJOY.
Kalihi visit. Today I came over to the Kalihi visit once again. This time I came over about 10 minutes before closing time. I just officially graduated from Chaminade University with my Master of Business Administration degree. I wanted to celebrate with Jollibee of course so I went. I felt bad for the staff and workers for having us down there and having them to stay longer for us but I am the Jollibee Kid dammit and I just graduated so I deserve to treat myself with the place and food that I love to go and eat! I ordered one of the holiday chickenjoy bundle packs that come with two chickenjoy buckets and a family tray of jolly spaghetti. The dine in beezyess was 0 percent of course so is the drive-thru since we were the only ones there. I had a great and jolly time. Sorry for the staff and workers that had to stay late again for my family and friends and I but I just had to.
Waipahu visit. Today I came over to the original Waipahu location which I haven’t gone to in a long long time. I came by for a pit stop visit to grab some lunch for a busy Saturday ahead. Since tomorrow is the annual Honolulu marathon which I do every year I had to get my routine jolly spaghetti with jolly fries for my carbo loading routine! I also got the jollibae some jolly chickenjoy kids meal. I also actually got a jolly spaghetti kids meal. I mainly got it for the toys which is the main reason why I usually get the jolly kids meals haha. Anyways, the dine in beezyness was about 30 percent and there was hardly a line.
Kalihi Visit. Today I came over to the Jollibee Kalihi location. It has been a while since I made a visit to Jollibee mainly because I have been so busy with work and many other things going on with my Jollibee kid related and not-so-related life. But anyways, it felt so great to step into a Jollibee again. Today I came over to get a couple of Jollibee chickenJOY buckets for two holiday parties that I am going to along with my Jollibae. The dine in beezyness was about 50 percent. The drive-through beezyness was about 30 percent. Too bad I missed that chickenJOY promo that they had in the thanksgiving season for the BOGO – buy one get one free chickenjoy bucket. Anyways all good and on to the jolly holiday parties!
Seafood City visit. So on a Monday evening, I came over to the Seafood City Supermarket location in Waipahu aka Jollibee Waipahu #2 location. I went there to get dinner for the Jollibae and I. It was near closing time so there was hardly anyone there at the store. I got a chickenjoy kids meal mainly because of the Jollibee tumbler because I love Jollibee novelties like that. Jollibae already got me two, one to rock and one to cop previously but I wanted to get another for my baby niece too! I got Jollibae a C1 meal.
In other news, there is a new mall that has been opened up in the Kapolei area called “Makana Ali’i” and they are expected to have a new Jollibee location over there. It will be Jollibee #5 for Hawaii and again for the island of O’ahu. I really do feel bad for the other islands because there is a ton more of Filipinos down over there. I think Maui has been wanting Jollibee so badly ever since the first one for Hawaii in 2010. Anyways, I will definitely keep on the look out for this location and best bee I will be one of the first to check it out!
